Dr. Alain Domkam is a highly skilled professional with more than 20 years of practical experience in hospital, home health, and primary care environments. Dr. Domkam earned his degree at the University of Henry Poincare School of Medicine in Nancy, France. ​ Dr. Domkam completed his Vascular Fellowship at Rush University and was the Clinical Instructor in General Surgery at the University of Fort de France.​ His specializations include radiofrequency and laser ablation of varicose veins, diagnostic perpheral and cerebral angiograms, acrotid stents, peripheral angioplastics and stens, atherectomy procedures.  In addition to his significant practicing experience, Dr. Domkam published the Vascular Chapter in Rush Book Review, 2006.

Dr. Min Cheol Kim is an esteemed ophthalmologist with a distinguished educational background and extensive clinical experience. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Harvard University, followed by both a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Yale University, where he achieved a perfect GPA and received the Winternitz Prize in Pathology. Dr. Kim completed his Internal Medicine internship at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and his Ophthalmology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital's Wilmer Eye Institute. He further refined his expertise with a fellowship in Surgical and Medical Retina at the University of Nebraska. Currently, Dr. Kim serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and has previously held leadership roles, including Chief of Surgery at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and Chief of Ophthalmology at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. His comprehensive practice focuses on retina subspecialties, and he has supervised numerous healthcare professionals throughout his career. Dr. Joshua B. Stevens, MD, PhD
Pain Management

Dr. Joshua B. Stevens, MD, PhD is a highly skilled anesthesiologist with specialized expertise in pain medicine. With a unique blend of clinical experience, research accomplishments, and a robust academic background, Dr. Stevens is committed to improving patient outcomes through innovative approaches in anesthesia and pain management. Dr. Stevens earned his MD from St. George’s University in Grenada in 2019, after completing a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics with a minor in Cancer Biology from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2009. His medical training was preceded by a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Michigan State University and an Associates of Science from Jackson Community College. He completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, from 2023 to 2024, and his residency in Anesthesiology at the same institution from 2019 to 2023. Dr. Stevens' clinical career is currently focused on anesthesia locum tenens positions at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC, and Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC, where he has been practicing since August 2024. Dr. Nini C. Thomas, MD
Endocrinologist

Dr. Nini C. Thomas, MD is an experienced internist with a strong background in hospitalist care and public health. With a broad educational foundation and a rich history in both clinical practice and research, Dr. Thomas has dedicated her career to providing exceptional patient care while contributing to advancements in medical research and education. Dr. Thomas earned her Medical Degree from Medical College Kottayam, Mahatma Gandhi University, India, where she completed her medical school from June 1994 to September 2000. Afterward, she pursued a Master of Public Health in Health Administration at California State University Fresno, graduating in May 2003. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Canton Medical Education Foundation, North Eastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM), from July 2003 to June 2006. Following this, Dr. Thomas continued her academic and professional development by completing a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from August 2006 to July 2007. Dr. Thomas is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, having obtained her certification in August 2006. Her professional career began with clinical and research roles, including serving as a Research Associate at the Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System from April 2002 to June 2003, and later, she became a Junior Doctor at Mary Queen’s Mission Hospital in India from July 2000 to June 2001. Since September 2007, Dr. Thomas has served as a Hospitalist at Geisinger Health System, where she continues to provide outstanding care for hospitalized patients. Currently, Dr. Choi is an Endocrinology Fellow at KPC Health Hemet in Hemet, CA, where he is expected to graduate in June 2025 and take the endocrinology board exams shortly thereafter. As a member of the KPC Research Committee, he actively participates in multidisciplinary meetings with representatives from various subspecialties, including Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, and OB/GYN. He has led multiple quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing diabetes management in hospital settings, collaborating with pharmacists, IT specialists, and Internal Medicine residents to optimize insulin administration and patient education. Dr. Choi completed his Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital from 2020 to 2023. During his residency, he obtained certifications in a range of medical procedures, including central line placement, arterial line placement, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, and arterial blood gas collection. He was also actively involved in the Sweet Pea Clinic, where he reviewed diabetes-related studies and provided targeted counseling and education to patients with uncontrolled diabetes. His research experience includes investigating barriers to colorectal cancer screening in the African American population at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he worked under the mentorship of Dr. Blanca Sckell. His findings were presented at the 2022 Residents and Fellows Day and the 5th Annual Primary Care & Hospital Medicine Innovations Symposium. Additionally, as a student researcher at Stony Brook University, he conducted studies on genetic correlations in stickleback fish populations and NG2 cell activity in mice. Beyond his clinical and research experience, Dr. Choi has a strong commitment to community service. He interned at the Community Service Society of New York, assisting low-income residents in accessing affordable healthcare and conducting workshops on diabetes and hypertension. He has also volunteered at various medical institutions, including Bobath Memorial Hospital and Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea, providing patient care and translation services. Dr. Choi is an active In-Training Member of the Endocrine Society, regularly engaging with the latest research published in leading endocrinology journals. He is fluent in both English and Korean, allowing him to serve diverse patient populations effectively. His certifications in Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) further underscore his preparedness to handle critical medical situations. With a deep dedication to patient care, medical education, and research, Dr. Choi continues to make meaningful contributions to the field of endocrinology and internal medicine. Dr. Stevens earned his MD from St. George’s University in Grenada in 2019, after completing a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics with a minor in Cancer Biology from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2009. His medical training was preceded by a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Michigan State University and an Associates of Science from Jackson Community College. He completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, from 2023 to 2024, and his residency in Anesthesiology at the same institution from 2019 to 2023. Dr. Stevens' clinical career is currently focused on anesthesia locum tenens positions at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC, and Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC, where he has been practicing since August 2024. His clinical experience is complemented by his extensive research background in molecular genetics and cancer biology, where he made significant contributions to understanding genomic instability and its role in cancer progression. His post-doctoral fellowship at Wayne State University’s Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics helped further his research into cellular stress and chromosome fragmentation, which earned him several publications in high-impact journals. In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Stevens is a dedicated educator and mentor, having coordinated courses and mentored over 40 students across various levels, including graduate, medical, undergraduate, and high school students. Many of his mentees have gone on to succeed in residencies, fellowships, and scientific competitions. He has also designed and led several workshops and courses related to scientific publication and critical thinking. Dr. Stevens has been recognized for his achievements with numerous honors, including being selected for the 2023 ASRA Pain Medicine/APPD Advanced Pain Management Scholarship, one of 25 pain fellows chosen to attend an exclusive workshop. He is also a graduate with honors and research honors from St. George's University, and he has received multiple accolades throughout his academic career. His work in pain medicine and anesthesia has been presented at major conferences, including the ASRA Pain Medicine Annual Meeting, where he contributed to presentations on pain management strategies, chronic pain medication effects, and innovative anesthesia approaches. Dr. Stevens is also an active member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Society of Anesthesia, and the Georgia Society of Anesthesia. Dr. Stevens’ dedication to advancing the field of anesthesia and pain management, combined with his wealth of research experience and academic involvement, positions him as a prominent figure in the medical community. His passion for improving patient care and education continues to influence and inspire those around him. Dr. Turner earned his M.D./M.B.A. from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. He furthered his education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University at Buffalo. His medical journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University. Additionally, Dr. Turner has undergone rigorous residency training, including a PGY 1-5 in vascular surgery at prestigious institutions such as the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Yale School of Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Turner has held numerous esteemed positions, including working as a vascular surgeon at Atlanta Heart Associates, one of the largest independent cardiology groups in the city of Atlanta. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Turner Global Enterprises, Inc., the parent company for multiple business ventures, including vascular surgery consultation services and investments in real estate. Currently, Dr. Turner is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Turner Vascular Institute, P.C., a physician-owned private practice medical group that provides comprehensive patient care alongside nationwide vascular surgery consultation services. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Turner has participated in locum assignments with various institutions, offering expert vascular surgery care in different regions across the U.S. Dr. Turner’s certifications include TCAR (2023), ACLS (exp. 2025), BLS (exp. 2025), ATLS (exp. 2026), and RPVI (exp. 2024). He is licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Idaho, where he practices with the highest standards of patient care. He is a member of various professional societies, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and the Georgia Vascular Society, among others. Dr. Turner has made substantial contributions to the vascular surgery field through multiple peer-reviewed publications, including articles on carotid stenosis, mortality in COVID-19 patients with peripheral vascular disease, and endovascular treatments for aortic ulcers. His research and scholarly work continue to influence the vascular surgery community. In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Turner has delivered multiple presentations at national conferences and has participated in various research studies. His leadership roles within professional organizations, such as the Society for Vascular Surgery Political Action Committee (PAC) and the Mount Sinai Medical Board, reflect his commitment to advancing the field of vascular surgery on both a clinical and administrative level. Dr. Turner is dedicated to both patient care and the continuous improvement of the healthcare system. His leadership in the vascular surgery field, combined with his passion for patient advocacy, makes him an invaluable resource for both his patients and his colleagues. Dr. Bandyopadhyay earned his MD in General Medicine from Medical College Hospitals, Calcutta University in India. He went on to complete his fellowship in Endocrinology at the State University of New York in Buffalo. Additionally, he is board-certified by the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, with multiple recertifications, and is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE). His extensive training includes a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami - Jackson Memorial Hospital and a Special Immunology Fellowship focused on AIDS, also at the University of Miami. Throughout his career, Dr. Bandyopadhyay has held several esteemed positions, including serving as an attending physician at multiple prestigious hospitals, such as Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, Memorial Hermann, and Kaleida Health in Buffalo, New York. He has also been the president of the Sugar Land Diabetes Center, where he made significant contributions to the management of diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Dr. Bandyopadhyay is currently an endocrinologist at Genesis Medical Group in New Braunfels, TX, where he continues to provide exceptional care for patients with diabetes, obesity, and other endocrine-related conditions. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bandyopadhyay has been an active educator, serving as the Program Director for the Endocrinology Program at the State University of New York and as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. Dr. Bandyopadhyay’s commitment to patient care is matched by his dedication to research and academic excellence.
